Responsibilities included the maintenance, administration and development of applications on the Holy Cross Web Site. Completed several web based applications as Project lead including on an online faculty file web application which was provided to the Dean's Office, Department Chairs, Faculty and Department staff to maintain mandated tenure information as well as access to and easy management of faculty records via the web. Other applications include the Career Advisor Network web application and an online campus directory for all students and campus personnel. Managed tthe completion of a web application to the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) which is used by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) and provides technical support for the production of web activity statistics reports using WebTrends™ technology.

Used experience in advanced web related technology includes skills with products spanning Oracle™, Java Server Pages / Java Beans, Cold Fusion™, DreamWeaver™, WebTrends™ as well as J2EE technologies and facility with languages including Java, SQL, DHTML, 4D, XML and XSL/XSLT. Developed familiarity and coding ability with emerging Web services technology including the use of SOAP and REST as well as the technologies outlined in the WS-I Basic Profile. While in this position completed training at Sun Microsystems in Java programming and web component development using Java. Using XML, XSL, XSLT, and a 4D database developed prototype web applications for delivery of complete websites to clients in the newspaper, magazine, and catolog publishing industry. Supporting technologies used included, Personal Web Server, IIS, document object model (DOM) development using both JDOM (with various JAVA Servlets) and Microsoft's MSXMLDOM, ActiveXObjects, ASP and HTML. Data was recieved from both PDF and Quark formats. Applications developed parsed data, reformated and applied stylesheets and output complete websites.

As Web Manager, responsible for the design and maintenance of company web site (http://www.healthshare.com/).  Used WS4D server, Personal Web Server, and IIS.  Designed a customer specific web initiative (http://www.healthshare.com/va/) using a 4Dv6.5 (4th Dimension from ACI, Inc.) Database to deliver client specific content. 

As Database Manager Level II, responsible for the production of customized database products from start to finish in a 4D software programming environment. Worked with a variety of media and input devices to load data into production network. Performed customized data processing and analysis. Provided quality control to data production process. Tested database integrity, checked data quality, monitored system performance and functionality, and participated in bug/problem resolution as well as enhancement of software. Contributed to ongoing re-engineering of data processing and production systems. Managed software and document library. Produced CDs of databases using InstallShield and PKZip Software.

Senior Project Assistant 
Designed web page for project (http://www.edc.org/FSC/pns-br) which includes Java applets and JavaScript, cgi scripts and interactive forms, as well as an interactive Lotus Notes database.  Assistance to projects within EDC for computer and graphic arts technical assistance.  Provided technical support and assistance on both IBM compatible PC's and Macintosh computers to project's school districts, partners and project team members.
